- Deed Tax= $3.33 per thousand of the sales/purchase price
- Trust Tax= $3.33 per thousand of the loan amount(s)
- Grantor's Tax= $1.00 per thousand, typically paid by seller
- Recording Fees= approximately $50 total
Refinance
Trust Tax= $3.33 per thousand of new Deed of Trust loan amount. $2.00 per thousand is charged on "new money" (difference of increase in loan amount) IF payoff lender is the same as the new originating lender.
Deed Transfer Tax= 1.1% of the sales/purchase price up to $400,000,
1.45% of the sales price over $400,000. Seller typically pays.
Deed Recordation Tax= 1.1% of the sales/purchase price up to $400,000,
1.45% of the sales price over $400,000. Buyer typically pays.
